This past Saturday, I had the privilege of representing Dr. Energy Saver Northshore at the Home and Garden show in Topsfield, MA.
Home shows are always such an amazing and rewarding experience. We get to know other home pros working in our area, learn about all kinds of interesting products, and get the chance to interface directly with our potential clients.
Personally, I was amazed about how much knowledge homeowners already had about insulation and R value. I remember when I was buying my first house, asking about insulation did not occur to me. At Saturday’s home show, though, I was asked some great questions!
I was asked this question by almost everyone I spoke with:
Which kind of insulation is the best?
Here in New England, we want the best! But there is no “best insulation” for everyone. Every house is different. My 1750s farmhouse has really different energy problems than a 1980s ranch. That 1980s ranch could need spray foam insulation to cover their duct work… but my farmhouse doesn’t have ducts. Dr. Energy Saver Northshore will recommend and install the best solutions to YOUR particular energy problems. We don’t just say, “cellulose is the best,” because there’s always a chance that in your attic, cellulose wouldn’t be a good fit.
I didn’t get to talk about “the best insulation,” but I had a great time talking about the best company in the insulation industry.
Come visit us at our next home show!
