When Earth Day started in the 70s, it was meant to empower and inspire people to demonstrate, make noise, and educate about the environment. Today, Earth Day reminds us that we all have the power to make a difference.
When we talk to homeowners about Dr. Energy Saver, we typically focus on the comfort and energy bill savings. We talk about how amazing it is to live in a home without drafts, to walk around barefoot in winter, and to see houses without icicles. We talk about the thousands of dollars in savings homeowners can expect, the joy of calling for oil only a few times a year, and a dramatically reduced electric bill in the summer. When we talk to homeowners, we typically focus on their personal home energy goals… we rarely focus on the big picture
The majority of us don’t think about environmental issues on a daily basis. Maybe we recycle, try to drink from a reusable water bottle, or drive a hybrid car. We are thinking about work, money, traffic, and chores more than we are thinking about the environment.
Helping the environment is daunting, it’s not something that one person can accomplish on their own, but it is something that we can all work toward. Earth Day reminds us that we can personally help the environment.
You have the power to consume the least amount of energy you can. With Dr. Energy Saver, you can consume less while still being comfortable. Nobody in New England wants to set their thermostat to 50 degrees in the winter, to help the environment. No thanks, let the world burn, we’d rather be warm!
But what if you could use the same amount of energy to heat your house to 70 degrees, that it once took to get to 50? Dr. Energy Saver can save you money, bring you comfort, and contribute to Earth’s well-being. That’s pretty amazing.
Earth Day is Saturday. Think about what you can do to help. And this summer, don’t waste precious energy and money on AC that leaks out of your house. Give Dr. Energy Saver Northshore a call.
